ASUS has pulled the curtain on the ProArt P16 (H7607), the first RTX Spark N1X-powered creator laptop, and it’s available for pre-order now. This is NVIDIA’s first full-fledged client PC platform making its way into a retail machine, and ASUS is pitching it as the ultimate on-device AI workstation for creators.
The headline spec is the NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X chip itself: a 20-core Grace CPU paired with a Blackwell GPU packing 6,144 CUDA cores, plus up to 128GB of unified LPDDR5X memory that the CPU and GPU share from one pool. That shared pool is the whole point — you can load big AI models locally without the memory shuffling that usually kills on-device inference.
Pricing is now official. The ProArt P16 starts at $2,599.99 at the ASUS Store and Best Buy, while the fully loaded 128GB configuration tops out at $6,499 at Best Buy (ASUS’s own footnote lists it at $6,000). In Canada, pre-orders started October 7. US configurations hit shelves on October 16.
The rest of the sheet reads like a creator’s wishlist: a 16-inch ASUS Lumina Pro OLED touchscreen at up to 4K and 120Hz with 100% DCI-P3, a 99.9Wh battery, and a chassis just 12.9mm thin weighing 1.77kg — 14% thinner and 9% lighter than the previous ProArt P16 generation. Dual M.2 slots go up to a 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.
NVIDIA’s platform pitch covers three crowds: developers get the same AI stack from RTX Spark up to DGX Station with no rewrites, creators get 5th-gen Tensor Cores with NVFP4 and hardware AV1 encode/decode, and gamers are promised AAA titles at 1440p and over 100fps with DLSS 5 and G-SYNC.
One naming caution for shoppers: the older AMD-based ProArt P16 (H7606) is still on sale around $2,400 — the RTX Spark models are the H7607. A smaller ProArt P14 (H7407) joins it in the lineup, and MSI’s Prestige N16 Flip AI+ — the first 16-inch 2-in-1 on RTX Spark — also begins pre-sales, starting with China.
